This time, I will talk about the flow for preoperative examination at our clinic.
The examinations are separated twice.

①Initial consultation suitability examination （time required: about 2 hours）

We will determine suitability for surgery.

Flow: medical questionnaire → test → medical examination → Counseling → End

Examination items: We will determine suitability of the surgery by various tests such as refraction test, visual acuity test, intraocular pressure test, corneal endothelium test, corneal topography test, axial length test, and fundus examination.

Please bring the prescription of contact lenses or glasses you normally use.

※During the fundus examination, we will use eye drops to dilate your pupils, so your vision will be blurred for about five hours. Please refrain from driving on the day of the examination.

Examination: You will be examined by an ophthalmologist to check the condition of your eyes and determine whether you are suitable for ICL.

Counseling: We will explain the fees, guarantees, lifestyle restrictions, and the procedures before and after surgery.

②Examination to determine ICL power （time required: about 1 hour）

Flow: Test → Medical Examination → Counseling → Finish

We will check that there are no changes from the first data and then perform a more detailed vision test.

The lens power will be determined based on the data from the second test.

※Depending on the condition of your eyes, you may be asked to retest at a different date.
