【Column】Clinic Etiquette Activities

After January and June this year, until August to September, our clinic has held Clinic Etiquette training activities 6 times.

Like last time, this time we also invited Ms. Yuko Kamiishi, the etiquette lecturer.
The lecturer, Ms. Yuko Kamiishi, used to be a flight attendant of Japan Airlines. During her tenure, she worked as a training instructor and later as a cabin manager, engaged in the training and management of flight attendants, mainly responsible for first class.
In the past 30 years’ career, she had severe experiences on special flights dedicated by the government. After retirement, she has obtained the national qualifications of Judo rehabilitator, acupuncturist, and licensed masseur. Now she works not only in Hiro Acupuncture and Osteopathy Clinic, but also as an etiquette lecturer.

After this training activity, receptionists, orthoptists, and nurses are divided into several groups by their occupations to do role-play and discussions.
Through the 3 pillars of etiquette (Gratitude, Respect and Modesty) and the 5 principles(①Greeting②Smiling③Appearance④Talking⑤Attitude) we learned from the training, our etiquette lever have improved more than ever before, but at the same time, our tasks have become more and more prominent.

In October, Ms. Yuko Kamiishi interviewed every employee about the feedback of training content. After pointing out the current topics, she gave advice on the methods to leverage strengths and weaknesses and improve shortcomings.
To overcome the topics, every employee in our clinic consciously devotes themselves to daily work.

Our clinic not only provides the most advanced medical technology, but also hold clinic etiquette training activities to provide high-quality services for patients.
