Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Will I get cataracts again after cataract surgery?

You will not have cataracts again after cataract surgery.
However, if the shell of the crystalline lens containing the intraocular lens becomes cloudy after surgery (secondary cataract), it becomes hazy and difficult to see again.
In this case, if you remove the turbid film with a laser, it will look clear again.
At our clinic, this laser is used free of charge for one year after cataract surgery, and health insurance will cover it thereafter.
