Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

How long does it take from examination to surgery?

The important thing in bifocal intraocular contact lens surgery is to have the target visual acuity after surgery like a normal ICL.
If you focus too much on the far distance, it will be difficult to see the near side, and conversely, if you focus too much on the near side, it will be difficult to see the far distance.
Therefore, it is important to have an examination to determine the power of the lens, and you will have to undergo two examinations before we ordering the lens.
We will place an order as soon as the power of the lens is decided, but unlike normal ICL, it takes about 2 to 3 months for the lens to arrive.
If you normally use contact lenses, you will be required to follow the contact lens wearing restrictions before the examination, after that you can wear contact lenses the day before surgery.
