Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

What happens to bifocal intraocular contact lenses if I have cataracts in the future?

If you have cataracts in the future, the bifocal intraocular contact lens is removed first before cataract surgery.
In cataract surgery, the cloudy lens is removed and a new intraocular lens is implanted. The intraocular lens used for cataract surgery also has a bifocal intraocular lens. By using it, it is the same as the previous bifocal intraocular lens. You can see near and far clearly without reading glasses.
