What is the different between ICL, IPCL and Phakic IOL?

ICL lens is produced by Starr Surgical , which is the only lens approved by Ministry of Health,Labour and Welfare of Japan, and has been used by more than 80 countries around the world. The material of the lens is Collamer. IPCL lens is produced by EyeOL company, which has obtained CE mark in Europe and is used by more than 40 countries around the world, but has not yet been approved by American FDA and Ministry of Health,Labour and Welfare of Japan. The material of IPCL lens is Hybrid Hydrophilic Acrylic.
Phakic IOL refers to the lenses inserted into eyes to correct vision, which is called intraocular lens in Japanese. ICL and IPCL belong to Phakic IOL, Phakic IOL is divided into anterior chamber type and posterior chamber type, both ICL and IPCL are posterior chamber type.
