Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Should I worry about pain during and after corneal cross-linking surgery?

The only anesthesia for corneal cross-linking surgery is eye drop anesthesia, and the required time is about 30 minutes for one eye, but there is no pain.
There is strong pain 2-3 days after surgery, and there is a foreign objects sensation, glare and haze, but the pain will disappear over time.
It can also be reduced by taking painkillers. In addition, it may cause tearing, redness, and swelling of the eyelids.
