Dr. Kitazawa, the chief surgeon of our clinic, won the Global EVO ICL Ambassador Award on the STARR Surgical 3rd EVO ICL APAC Experts Summit held in Okinawa from 15th～ 17th in March.
About 500 doctors and medical staff from Japan, China, Korea, and other Asian countries attended the summit.
Dr. Kitazawa represented Japanese doctors as the chairman and panel member at the two meetings.
The award ceremony commended doctors who contributed to the popularization of ICL.
Among them, as the pioneer of ICL enlightenment activities, Dr. Kitazawa was awarded「Global EVO ICL Ambassador Award」by STAAR Surgical, the manufacturer and seller of ICL.
This award is the most honorary award presented by STAAR Surgical, and it is also only awarded to Dr. Kitazawa in the world.
In the future, we will continue to be in the leading position not only in Japan, but also in the world, and contribute to the development of ophthalmology.
