After undergoing ICL surgery, if your driver’s license has “glasses, etc.” written in the conditions section, you will need to go through the procedure to change the conditions.
This is something that is easy to forget, please don’t forget it.

<How to apply>
After ICL surgery, you will be given a vision test at a police station or driver’s license center to ensure that your vision has recovered.
If you meet the vision standard for a Class 1 regular vehicle license, the visual acuity of one eye should be above 0.3, and that of both eyes should be above 0.7, and it is deemed that the condition is no longer necessary, the “glasses, etc.” condition will be removed. (The standards are different for large vehicles, Class 2 licenses, mopeds, and small special vehicles.)
※You can apply for a change of conditions even if it is not time for renewal.
※Please bring your driver’s license with you.
If you drive without changing the “glasses, etc.” requirements, you will be in violation of the conditions and may be subject to penalties, so be sure to remember to go through the procedure for making the changes.
If you have any questions about the procedures, please check with your local police station or driver’s license center.
