At this time of year, we are often asked that, “Is it okay to get the flu vaccine before and after ICL surgery?”

After having the influenza vaccine, side effects such as fever and poor health condition may occur, so at our clinic we recommend patients refrain from receiving the influenza vaccine for one week before and after surgery.

We also advise patients to refrain from receiving COVID-19 or other vaccinations for one week before and after their surgery.

Please keep this in mind when making plans.
