Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

I am not currently presbyopia, but can I have surgery for bifocal intraocular contact lenses as a preventive measure for presbyopia in the future?

A bifocal intraocular contact lens corrects presbyopia as mentioned in the indications for (Question ①) and (Question ②).
It has the advantage of being able to see far and near, but it also has disadvantages, for example, it takes a while to see near things and has poor vision in dark places. Therefore, it is not recommended for people without presbyopia to choose this surgery in advance to prevent presbyopia in the future.
Young people can see near if myopia and astigmatism are corrected with normal ICL, so it is recommended to replace with bifocal intraocular contact lenses when presbyopia appears in the future.
